The Tread Of The Western Outlander

The Tread Of The Western Outlander
by Finn Pearce

Chapter One: TP the Tourist

One foggy morning in Ireland, a tourist called TP woke up.  He thought he would go for a fish in the lake.  Underneath the water he thought he saw some pebbles spelling the words, “Watch out for the Outlander!”  TP of course didn't know what this meant really.  Then he thought, “hmmmm,” then he thought maybe he would go to  the cliffs on the west of Ireland to find some swallows to roast.  Of course, this wasn't a good idea because in the west lurks the Western Outlander, a terrifying dragon that is so rare that humans have never seen it.  But, T.P. didn't quite know what dangers were lurking for him.  He set off to the west, hands in pockets.  The foggy morning didn't make him not see how beautiful the west was.  Because of the mist, some beautiful flowers had water dripping from them. The trees rustled just a tiny bit.  In that very moment he approached a mountain with a swallow on top.  He thought, “hmmm this is what I am looking for. One is as good as two.”  He went down the path, up the hill.  When he got to the top of the hill the swallow flew to the cliffs.

TP  did not know the Outlander was hiding there. When  TP
reached the cliffs he saw the Outlander.

Chapter Two: Rest

The Outlander picked TP up. It flew to the cliffs.TP struggled to get out of the claws. “Arrrrrg let me
go you monster”. It went back to a cliff.
The Outlander sat on TP all night long. Poor TP. In the
morning TP went back to the village. The next day TP went
to the library. Off a dusty shelf TP picked a book called
Dragons. “Just what I am looking for,” he said.TP asked the
guy at the counter if he could have it. TP got the book.
When TP saw Western Outlander he said, “oh I met that
thing”. In the morning TP told everybody about the
Outlander. Then everybody protected the Outlander in
Ireland. However the Scots did not seem to agree. In Scotland the Scottish army planned to attack the
Western Outlander in two weeks.  One hour after the Scottish plan a Irish messenger told them the Scot's plan. TP couldn't bear the Scots killing the Outlander. TP couldn`t believe it. The Scots killing a rare dragon. Typical just typical!

Chapter Three Battle Field

Two weeks afterwards a colossal storm broke up so that the Scottish army did not attack the Outlander. Since TP had more time he was thinking about how he could save the Outlander.  Ten minutes later TP had an idea. He searched in a history book called Battle of the Western Outlander. It said:

battle of the Western Outlander 1964

TP looked for the Scot section in it. Here it is TP said when he found it.  The Scots were jealous that the English had the Outlander and attacked it.
