Cliff Path and other Poems

Cliff Path

Oh take me back
to the house on the cliff near
the sea.

Oh bring back the salty air,
where did they go?

Did they disappear?

It is gone for now.

Will it come back?

Struck by lightning so close
but yet so far.

So I sit here now
dreaming of the
once living house.

Friendship

as strong as iron but
as fragile as porcelain
as good as a miracle
but as bad as a wasp
treat it harshly and it will hurt you
but treat it gently
and it will be like
pure gold

Spring Onions

some are busy
standing up
some are lazy
lying down
spring onions
all around
spring onions in
bloom
spring onions
springing from their gloom
